BASIC CUTS DIRECTIONS - Tsuki - Thrust to the head, throat, chest, etc (shuffle from right foot or step from left foot)
- Kiri oroshi - Vertically down to top of the head
- Makko giri - Vertically down to the belly button.
- Hidari Kesagiri - Diagonally down from left to right - neck, shoulder, etc.
- Migi Kesagiri - Diagonally down from right to left - neck, shoulder, etc.
- Hidari Gyakugesa - Diagonally from left to right - trunk, etc.
- Migi Gyakugesa - Diagonally from right to left - trunk, etc.
- Hidari Ichimonji - Horizontally from left to right - trunk, etc.
- Migi Ichimonji - Horizontally from right to left - trunk, etc.
- Hidari Nukiuchi - Horizontally from left to right (neck or sholder level)
- Migi Nukiuchi - Horizontally from right to left (neck or sholder level)
